A Review of The
Race
It was short, successful and fun for me to host. Season 6 was the most
successful season for me yet. 14 players start in an AIM chat room. All of
them were very excited and could not stop talking about the race. Finally,
at exactly 8pm the race starts and players leave the chat room. They read
clues they have never read before and were challenged by the detours and
road blocks. At the middle of the game, a new twist to the game sets the
players into confusion. "What's happening?" asked a player. It's
all part of the game I said. This new twist in the game was an advantage
for many but was a disadvantage for others. In leg 4, a hard clue set
confusion to the players. They begin to worry one by one and some lost
their hopes and quit the race. It was all normal for me because every
season I see players quitting because of confusion. But these players were
not quitting. I was surprised that only 2 quit the race. Once quit because
he was so pissed with the race. He said "It sucks". But if it
does, why did all of the other players enjoyed it? Another quit because of
confusion. he does not know hat to do that's why he quitted the race. All
of the other players did not loose hope and tried and tried until there
was a declared winner and runner-ups. All of them had similar parts of
difficulties. They said that they all find one part of the race too
difficult.
Making
The Race
The
race will never change again. All the tasks will always be the same
starting now. That's because Season 5 was the most most most difficult
racetrack but the players enjoyed it. That's what matters most.
Crossing
the Finish Line
After 2
seasons, at last there are runner-ups again! Many crossed the finish line
not only one, not 2, not 3 but 5 of them made it to the finish. This was a
great new thing that happened for the first time!
