The season started the season started calmly with all thirteen players arriving at the starting line one by one.  They were waiting 8:00 PM to come. The players were excited. Most of them are first timers but some have played the race before. 8:00 PM finally came in and the go signal was given to all the players. They dashed to read their first clue. PimpJuice275 took an early lead by going for the fast forward. What he didn’t know is that there are so many problems that lie ahead.

He arrived at the pit stop first. It was the first one out of the 4 pit stops the players will be spending 10 minutes of their time in. He left already fro the second leg. This is only the time where in the players arrived to the first pit stop. PimpJuice275 was clearly at a very huge lead. He left a huge gap between him and the rest of the pack. He climbed up the social ladder too soon. He fell down.

PimpJuice275 started leg 2 and found it very frustrating. FriarStrudel, who was the 2nd to arrive at the first pit stop, left the pit stop already for leg 2. He caught up with PimpJuice275 and overtook him. Supaphlai, who was the 3rd person at the first pit stop also overtook PimpJuice275. Then, Ironic Maniac0 also overtook PimpJuice275 leaving him in a vulnerable position now. PimpJuice275 can’t take the frustration and the pressure of the game much longer. He decided to quit.

Gullible fruit, who was the 6^th person to arrive at the first pit stop, took the fast forward on leg 2 and managed to squeeze her way though the players. Leg 2 was one of the hardest legs of the race. She did the right choice of skipping the whole leg.

She left the 2^nd pit stop and was on leg 3 when supaphlai arrived at the 2^nd pit stop ranking team #2. Gullible fruit, even though on a dial –up connection was determined to face the leg of the race ahead.

Leg 3 came and gullible fruit came in first at the 3rd pit stop followed by supaphlai. Tico1222 came in at 3rd with just a short lead of 2 minutes ahead of FriarStrudel and 5 minutes ahead of Alvin UnKiNd. Chickentar12 arrived 6h place at the 3rd pit stop.

A few minutes later, the players were at the 4^th leg. Some were at the first leg and some were eliminated. But what others didn’t realize is that some players are still in the 2^nd leg and not yet eliminated because 2 of the racers quit the race leaving more places for the racers behind to still catch up and avoid elimination acream25 was the player who didn’t quit and really worked hard to finish the race.

Gullible fruit left the 4^th pit stop heading for leg 5, the last leg of the race. 5 minutes later, supaphlai, who was the 2^nd person to arrive at the 4^th pit stop, left the pit stop also heading for leg 5. Supaphlai’s tactic in leg 5 caused him to win this race. You see in the previous legs, he didn’t take any fast forwards yet. This leg, he did manage to get one. He quickly ran to the finish line and making him the winner of The Amazing Online Race’s amazing 17^th season.
