A Review of The Race

In the end, it came up to be a very close neck and neck race between Team Blind and Team D-19. Team D-19 was about to finish the race when he had some difficulties in a program. While he was figuring out how to solve this problem and while he was trying out to solve it, Team Blind, at third place, rushed into the lead and had no difficulties with the final Route Info and passed Team D-19. Team D-19 felt bad when he saw Team Blind already in the finish line. But they both are great sports and congratulated each other.

Ten minutes later, Team Otto came in. His delay was because of the first Road Block clue. He couldn't do it. He really had a hard time doing it because he even asked for help from me. From me? The host? Of course everyone should have a fair game so no help was given to him. After a few minutes, he finally made it through the Road Block and claimed his next clue.... so he can do it after all : )

These teams have raced other teams to the finish line and made it in the final three. They have had and experience the thrills, the rush and The Amazing Online Race. Why have they experienced all of these? It's simply because it's a very unique game with twists and turns, a game that really entertains you like no other Amazing Race games online where you have to answer questions to get your next clue.... It's not a great thing to ask questions because it really makes the game boring and dull for the contestants. Other games also do not work in real time. Here, It is really a real time online game where every second counts. Every decision you make is very important for it will affect your position in the race.

The Fast Forward passes are available in legs 2, 3 and 4. In leg 2, once team D-19, Diego, has reached this leg, he immediately claimed the fast forward which gave him a really great lead because he jumped to leg 3 at once and without doing all the tasks that players must do in leg 2. In leg 5, Team D-19 finally encountered a major problem. Servers from a program wont accept him to cross the finish line. I can't say what program this is because the next players of The Amazing Online Race will also encounter the same race and challenges the teams have encountered. Why? because it's really hard to create this game because it involves doing so much clues, challenges and twists. I have to think all of these. Back to the topic, while Team D-19 was in first place and having a great lead, Team Blind which is on second place managed to pass Team Otto, Charlie, on leg 3 of the race. Team Blind also encountered the problem Team D-19 was having but Team Blind managed to solve it at once and made it to the Finish Line in first place. About 2 minutes later, Team D-19 came disappointed because of the server problem he encountered.

The Teams left the finish line already without Team Otto yet. Team Otto came in 10 minutes after they have left and not like Team D-19, team Otto, who is named Charlie, felt great because in spite of the problems he had on the first Road Block and on some more parts of the race, he still ended up in the final 3 and managed to cross the finish line.

The funny thing about this race is... Only Team D-19 claimed the fast Forward. If team Otto claimed the fast forward in leg 3, he could be the winner of the race. So you really have to think to win this race. It was maybe Team Otto's strategy of not claiming the Fast Forward. But sadly, it did not work.

Making The Race

Making a race like this really is hard. You need patience and you need to work hard in finishing it. You also need to test the race and play the race by yourself to see if it really works, if the clues are leading the players to the right spots, etc.

Crossing the Finish Line

The following paragraph is just the opinion of the Host which he tells what goes on in his mind while the players cross the finish line. "I hope the players wont take it seriously! it's just plain racing fun!"

When Team Blind, Hazri, came in, he said... "I'm here". It seems like nothing is going to happen and I think on his mind at that moment is... So what if I cross the finish line?... Laugh out Loud! The players really had a hilarious time crossing the finish line. Team D-19 said, "Man, I had so many problems". I would like to tell him, you sure do because you didn't win! And when Team Otto crossed the finish line he said, "Whew! Finally made it" I would like to tell him, is sitting on your computer, and clicking the mouse made you tired? Hehehe.
