Leg 1

Detour Task 1- Detour Task 2-
-ask the locals- you must ask many people about where the next clue is but only one person knows it. -ask a local- you should ask a person where the next clue is but you should first go through series of many clues.

 

Task Task
Find Waldo in the picture. Once you found him, click on his foot and you will get the Fast Forward Pass -You must memorize a pattern ex: car=boat, etc.... once you have memorized it, you will then receive your next clue.


 

Leg 2

Detour Task 1- Detour Task 2-
-Short scare-In short scare, you will watch the actual cursed video in the movie The Ring. Legend has it that right after you watch the video, you will receive a weird phone call and then 7 days later you will die. It will be short but very scary.
 
-Long Scare- Go to www.feardotcom.com . It is a very scary site. Once there, you will be asked if you want to play. click on yes. Then put your mouse cursor over the cleft cabinet. play that game. This task will consume some time but it is not that scary. The word is 

 

Task Task
-Crack the code to the next site by choosing from 20 words. Only one word will work as a password to the next site. -You must have a debate with one player in a chat room. The debate will go on for only 2 minutes. The one who wins receives his clue first. The one who losses will have another 2 minute delay. You must wait for another player to come to this road block in order for you to do it.

 

Leg 3

Detour Task 1- Detour Task 2-
-seeing-you should watch out for a word that starts with the letter B that scrolls in the web page using marquee. there are many words that will scroll but only 1 starts with the letter B. -hearing- guess the performer of the midi sound.

 

 

Task Task
 operate an ROV at http://www.thetech.org/robotics/atyourcommand/index.html through the desert. Once in the target area,  there will be a window that will pop out. Get the 8th word in that window . -What were the pattern used in road block 1?
match the patterns by clicking the items. wrong pattern will lead you to wrong page, correct pattern will lead you to the next clue

 

 

Leg 4

Detour Task 1- Detour Task 2-
-Hard Work- play game 1 of extreme memory in http://www.bubbletoonia.com/game/memoryxtreme.html and finish a game. Get the word under Submit. word is "menu" -Easy Wait- In easy wait, all you have to do is wait. You will wait in a chat room for exactly 10 minutes. After 10 minutes your next clue will be given to you.

 

Task Task
-there will be 7 letters flashing on your screen. It makes up a whole word. Unscramble the letters and when you get the word, use that to get to your next clue -There will be a series of images flashing through your screen. You must get the word that will flash on your screen in order for you to get your next clue.

 

Leg 5

Detour Task 1- Detour Task 2-
object pattern--you must follow the guide and click through the right pattern of stones.

ex: click on stone 1, then stone 6 then stone 7 then stone 8

-color bungle- the pattern will be confusing. example: click on the word blue. but the word blue is color yellow. click on color blue but the color blue is the word red. until they find their clue

 

Task Task
-go to Yahoo.com and get the last word you will see in that web page. Once you have it, it will then serve as a pass for you to get the fast forward clue. Click on the right pattern for you to get to your next clue.
